Poem

We flock to the sea
The sapphire sea
Our wrongs be blessed
With brine and shell
We return to the great beauty
We fear the known
And get lost alone
Drifting in and away from this self
Clutter and chatter on a cliff
Dive down to feel a chill
Be that unknown
And float away with
The curious current
Beneath

Empathy

At times in life I come across empathy challenges. Even though emotion inside is strong (usually coming from a selfish or controlling place) and usually transferring into frustration or anger. What I need to do, in order to restore peace inside my mind and body, is to turn on the empathy. To try and put myself in their place. Not to assume what they're feeling... Sometimes if your lucky, you can ask the person how they are feeling and they may know the truth and be able to express it. If not... It's up to me to turn on my empathy hose.
Being a mother, this is a good tool to have. It helps with a short temper and especially when your breastfeeding and your hormones are jumpin around the place.
One day at a time. I must remind myself! At the end of each day I like to think about the good and not so good decisions I've made that day. It helps with putting the thought into practice.
I like to blog...
Because I feel like sayin a whole bunch of stuff for people to hear.
Have a lovely evening
